  The only thing stopping me from purchasing JomSocial is because there is no way to have different profile types. For every type of website I build, I need to be able to have multiple types of profiles with different fields and features per profile.

  We are currently working on this feature where admin can make unlimited user types/profile types, either free/paid and assign a fee for paid profile types.

  This would be such a useful feature. I would really love to see it implemented!!! There's at least 3 projects I could incorporate this into.

  I could so use this function now. :D Please implement it ASAP.

  And have it so the registration questions are different depending on the user's selected profile type.

  Ohhhhhhh Please do this! I have to have this for the project I am working on. Anyone have any ideas on how to trick the current version to create a workaround?

  This feature is really good, specially if you want to build a community with two services: a "free" service with a minimal features/applications enabled (users can upload up to 5 photos, no videos, no SEO in their personal page, etc) and a "premium" service (user will be able to upload videos, free photo galleries, a mini blog o forum, a guest book, and so on).

  I'd like to have different user types too! we're running a music producer page and we'd like to have songwriters, bands, producers, singers and so on.

  This would be a very Interesting feature. I think the easyest wa to controll it is to set the customized profiles for a group.
