Better Fireboard integration
I would love if a tight integration between FB and JomSocial as CB would exisit.
I would like it to achieve few things:
- Replace FB profile for the jomsocial one, adding tab for FB profile edition
- Option to show all posts instead a specified number
- Integration of FB karma, posts and time registered for a new jomsocial points system
- Tight integration between groups and FB, so when a new group is created a provate subforum for the group members is created as well, and linked in group

Ok, we will no longer be supporting Fireboard. Kunena is the new fireboard and they already add all this integration in their code.

Dump Fireboard. They dropped the ball big time. I migrated to the fork, Kunena. They have already fixed a ton of bugs and are moving very quickly towards a native version. They are very responsive on their forum as well.

PLease keep in mind that Fireboard has been forked. Kunena is now the leading Joomla native forum system.

Does anyone know what the status of Fireboard project is? Their support forum has been shut down for a while and I havn't gotten any response from them?

well...am not sure but i saw a guy getting his JomSocial n FB profiles linked...a little bit of FB template editing n it wrkd..
but i desperately wait for the FB full integration :D -

I agree, FireBoard is best forum for Joomla... and JomSocial. Also I would like to see those features implimented.

I believe is something to be achieved in both parts, for starters, the option to show all posts form the user, and taking acount of posts to get karma and so, is something in jomsocial part...
Also, the creation of new private subforums, can be achieved only from jomsocial side.. -

Well, the issue here is that it is more or less a Fireboard to integrate, rather than JomSocial to integrate. JS did what they can IMO.

I agree. Fireboard in my opinion is one of the best forums available anywhere so it only makes sense to tie it into JomSocial. Great idea!
