new members/who's online show usernames instead of avatars
While the display of avatars in jomsocial is integrated and displayed nicely, they may not be practical for some sites.
Right now, I see a lot of avatars in the "Recent Members" and "Who's Online" lists; most of these avatars are generic, the others are not very informative. I don't find it very useful.
I would like to see an option for the display of usernames (or usernames AND avatar).
If I saw a username like "FooDogLover" in either of these lists, I may reach out to them as a fellow dog lover.
I feel this option would increase the social networking among users and provide some sort of usefulness rather than displaying icons which I feel are not very useful (especially on very large sites).

of course not just username also have the option (by admin) to use real name. I have a business directory/social network and usernames are not cool for doing business online.

In this instance, it's important to "force the hand" of users . . . don't make it easy for them to NOT post an actual head shot or really well-thought-out icon . . . those head shots / faces convey an *enormous* amount of information . . . IMHO . . . .
