  I very much want this as well. Also, the ability to set number of open seats by gender.

  I run an event driven site, we use Eventlist right now, highly customized, I love the layout of the events on Jomsocial, But Man i just do not have enough options there NEEDS to be some custom fields. I need Venue Information added for sure so i can pull out events By Venue for their profile pages.. that seems to be the only thing the calendar is lacking.. Custom Fields would be amazing!

  I would like to be able to post events in the PAST ! I can't always post news stories as they happen but I'm using events to say something about key things that happen and displaying them on a timeline. I have to go into the DB to change the date if it is something in the past - a pain...

  just ton think : events shoulb custumizable like profils : add plugin etc ...
