  That would be EXCELLENT add-on because by each day passed more and more people are using smartphones. Atm I know about iJoomer, but with its current development pace, all of us here will die of old age before it gets released for Android. I cannot judge about iphone version because I don't own it. But android demo version is buggy, unstable and only basic status change is working.

  I gave my votes to this idea as well as the one mentioned in the post below because there is no denying the importance of mobile users on the social networking landscape. Jomsocial is not a competitor without mobile integration.

  Yes, please build a mobile accessible Jomsocial site/template/platform, not an app only.

  I know under JomSocial AddOns you can extend your community to iPhone (iJoomer :: iPhone app for Jomsocial) This connects with JomSocial for iPhones.
  What I think you are looking for is a MOBILE version of JomSocial becausewhen you build aps, a different ap would need to be created for each platform. (There is another suggestion for this as well)
