    3. Please continue the development and improvement of Zencoder Solution

      I have found the Zencoder video conversion solution to be excellent. It takes all the video conversion load off of the JomSocial Web Server.
      Please add more features to improve this solution such as a video upload progress bar and video status from the Zencoder site API in a small popup when your cursor is on the pending video. Then when the video is completed there will be a small popup to show the video description when the cursor is on the completed video.
      The duration of the video also needs to be updated when the video is completed.

    5. embedding videos

      We need an option for embedding videos. Most sites offer embed codes to share videos. Currently we can not use embed codes on jomsocial. Not everyone wants to add youtube or generic site videos.

      Most 3rd party video provider has a fixed video thumbnail size. Custom width and height not always available.

    7. Users / Groups be able to create Video Albums

      Users/groups uploading videos need to have the same capability with being able to create their own album for videos to be uploaded into like photos currently have.

    8. Please provide REST APIS

      We are building CholaTube integration with iphone,android and ipad.If jomsocial provides the REST APIs,it will be easier for us to integrate.Just whatever mentioned in the documentation section is more than enough for us !!!

      We did some work with REST api, but receive very little interest and feedback. The development slows down and eventually put on hold. If we can get more request here, we’ll be happy to work on it and release it.

    15. Select a Poster Image for each uploaded Video...

      The poster image represents the subject of the video. So, instead of having a blank frame or the 1st frame chosen automatically upon upload, I would like to be able to select a video frame that would better represent the theme (or subject) of the video.

    16. video upload on managed server

      make it possbile to FTP upload videos that already have the correct format so there is no need for processing on server. Different settings for admin and users concerning filesize. JomSocial should check the chosen file and allow or reject the upload depending on format. Also show hints on what files are supported or how to get the correct format. On managed server processing won't work, but video upload is an important feature.
