Give an option to add a Watermark to new uploaded Photos. It should be possible to choose watermark yes or no.
And it should be possible to choose whitch usergroup could use watermarks, maybe only admins.

Ability to import images from Facebook and /or Flickr into JS Gallery

Photo Gallery needs much more feature like sort by hits, by rating, or more more album rights for other users. I would like to set who is able to upload pictures in existing albums und many more feature. Please think about it

It would be great if super administrators (and chosen moderators) had the ability to make avatars required and also could approve/disapprove them before the activation link is sent to new members. Community builder has this functionality and I found it to be a very valuable way to cut back on fake profiles and inappropriate avatars.

Since communities are all about sharing, why not add an option to the photo albums to download them in a zip-file? I'd hate to have my community members have to download them pic by pic.

It would be nice to add a personal photo gallery to a group - I have a member who has uploaded a photo album to their personal profile, however we both feel it would be better within a group for the topic.
It would be nice to be able to add this album to the group so one can log into the group and see it rather than go to the members profile.

Have the ability to assign a tags to a photo, Names of persons who are not users they can be labeled

I think that is a good solution as "Viewing photos in the popup window" to make it more convenient viewing of photos with last comments. For example facebook.com or Simple Image Gallery PRO from JoomlaWorks :) Also you can see these screens

Be able to give keyword tags to photos and video after they're uploaded. Then allow people to search through photos and videos based on those keyword tags.

Option to generate img bbcode for photos so users can share them on forums.

There should be an option to add photos to the album with FTP, maybe for admis.

It should be so:

- ftp upload photos to jommla root images folder
- create new album in jomsocial profile
- as special user (maybe admin) you can choose "upload photos" or "choose photos"
- click "choose photos" and mark photos (you have previously uploaded) which you want to see in your photo album
- jomsocial now should create thumbnails and save thumbs in jomsocial photo folder
- jomsocial create Database entry automatically
- jomsocial delete original files in images folder automatically

Can you make it so that if the user trys to upload a file greater than 2mb the uploader automatically re-sizes the picture? My users don't like to re-size their pictures.

Allow display location map in photo and video detail like in Activity stream or better.
In detail there is only text description now.

Why don't you make share images in the activity stream larger? You can not see what the image is unless you click it.

Currently users are only notified when there are discussion updates.
I believe there should be option for notification when images are uploaded also.

At present, the albums are just a 'flat-file' structure. It would be nice to be able to have the familiar heirarchy / sub-folder structure.

CATAGORIES, and Master Gallery. Let Admin have his own Master Gallery, with its own settings and restrictions, so a site may have its own large gallery and can showcase and feature it, sorting options, arrange categories and albums, facebook likes...
