I'd like to add customize field to events :
- price -> Amount
- Age (Exemple 20 +, 30+; 40+) -> List
- with children or not -> Yes or no
- Metro or Bus -> text field
etc...

How about an option for users to subscribe to get email notifications of all events and for them to choose how often to receive the notifications. eg: notification of all events or by category once a day or once a week. an email with all the events listed, rather than an email for every event. this would suit events. i know it is already there for group events.

Make a Facebook like notification. That means if i Click the Message Icon on toolbar Show me the Last Messages as ajax Popup and dont Redirect me to Messages Page. Same with friends and notification

Problem: Jomsocial and Joomla themes are independent. If Jomsocial changes, sometimes serious changes have to be made to custom templates. To make life easy for those who don't mind Jomsocial's default template, also provide a default Joomla template to match.

It will be good to move Group Avatar, Category, Created, Group admins list and description to left sidebar and keep the Recent Activities, Announcements, Events,..etc on the center column.
This helps existing members to concentrate on new and recent activities and more visibility for the group

-when you click on someone's profile picture on their page it goes to photos
-on top of the current options, the ability to set who can see your photo albums (specific user(s) or group)

Jomsocial needs nofollow his outgoing links. With sharing url-s in latest activity the site gets overloaded with links. I`m worryed about the site SEO. Google can of the jomsocial site like link farm and harm SERP positions. Nofollow atribute for latest activity is important.

The creator of an event should be able to set a reminder for that event. The reminder would send out an email to all participants reminding them of the event details. The reminder should be sent out at a predefined time of the creator's choosing before the event takes place.
We find that people sign up for events but then forget about them.

It would be great to be able to copy custom fields within the Custom Profile interface. This would be useful for when you want to create multiple variations of the same field data, using a different data type, for instance. This can be useful for both testing and applications that use the same data in slightly different ways. Rather than having to copy and paste all the information to a new field, it would be easier to just duplicate an existing field, and then modify it to your purposes.

One key to drivng traffic to your site is having some kind of giveaway. The jomsocial community would be perfect to track a registered members entries and random drawing from those entries to win a prize. Monthly, weekly or daily. Maybe allowing one entry per day per community member.

Just found out the hard way that you can not set the Admin of a group. All of my groups are setup by me, the admin of the site. When I make someone else an owner, they can make admin changes to the group. What I just found out is that if you take away ownership, they keep admin control over the group. This is a very bad thing, I need to be able to grant and take away admin control of a group and also have multiple admins.

i´m afraid that guests can read public groups.

For many community's it´s important to be careful with the privacy.

Privat groups are perfect for special themes for a couple of members - but the Public groups also shouldn´t be viewable by the whole web.

When a user first uses facebook connect and registers, it then automatically posts to their wall that they have registered on your site with your site logo so all their friends will be notified. A little more viral..

i believe that jomsocial must have more login options and work
as the facebook login does

The poster image represents the subject of the video. So, instead of having a blank frame or the 1st frame chosen automatically upon upload, I would like to be able to select a video frame that would better represent the theme (or subject) of the video.

Title says it all. Standard system messages look ugly even on default Joomla template and in Jomsocial they're absolutely alien.
