Has jomsocial is integrated with facebook It should be super a integraiton with google+ -> Share with google+, connect with google+ invite friends... and perhaps think api for other sociela network (twitter, etc...)

Custom Profile with Multiple Sets of Information

Currently, a custom profile group only holds only one set of information pertaining to that group. E.g., Education -> only one set of Graduation/School information. Suggestion is to allow groups to have multiple sets of information. The idea is that a group type has a parameter allowing for multiple sets of information. When editing the profile, each group set with multiple option true, will show the first existing sets of information and a link which allow for adding additional set of information.

Now you have to have access to the back-end of Joomla to be able to moderate the fron-end of Jomsocial. I think an admin should be able to appoint other registered users to moderate the front-end without giving them access to the Joomla back-end.

It's not easy for us who use other langue then English. it's would be great if there was a tool that check my langue file and see if I missing some string. and if string is missing it's show the English text. Then it's easy for us to change the English text to ours own langue.

How about an option for users to subscribe to get email notifications of all events and for them to choose how often to receive the notifications. eg: notification of all events or by category once a day or once a week. an email with all the events listed, rather than an email for every event. this would suit events. i know it is already there for group events.

For example through March 11, Arizona follows mountain time, but after day light savings time in March, Arizona changes to Pacific time until October. Rather than requiring events in Arizona to switch back and forth between PST and MST depending on the time of year, it would be nice if there was a separate option for Arizona Time. This will be very helpful when 2.6 comes out with reoccurring events. See Google Calendars on how they have an Arizona Time option.

I would like to see more privacy options for groups, not just ALL or NONE. For example, a group may want the discussions private, but announcements and events public. Several groups on my site have requested this.

Have some sort of database clean up system for jomsocial in the joomla backend that removes expired information in the database with selectable options and a system that removes any other media from the server that is not used that users have uploaded in group, events, profiles.

We certainly need a scripted installation on the server without going through the browser. There I sit on a slow DSL line and I have to download the installation file to my local computer, then upload it again to my server during the installation. Much better to have a terminal to the server, do a wget to the latest release and be able to run a script on the server to install everything - INCLUDING all the modules and apps. It is aggravating to have to manually install each and every mod and plg every time an update comes out.

Joomla 1.7 has a built-in core ACL (Access Control Level) that allows us to define granular access level for a group and/or user. However, JomSocial 2.2.4 seems to lack the support for this core Joomla 1.7 ACL. When the core Joomla 1.7 ACL is supported by an extension (component), there will be a button appears at the top of the configuration page. The button is usually named something like "Options" or "Preferences" or "Parameters". When you click on it and then select the Permissions tab, you will be able to set up access level by user groups, thereby fine and granular access level can be assigned, depending on needs of each user group. This core Joomla 1.7 ACL is already supported by many extensions, such as Akeeba, JCE, and Kunena. Unfortunately, however, JomSocial 2.2.4 seems to be lacking this core Joomla 1.7 support.

What is the purpose for group categories if there is no settings available for that "group category"? Just for ordering?
Or the user multiprofile thing (it can be named also "user categories" as well) where are only 2 ACL options. Insufficient!

I think users would appreciate the ability to add custom applications to group pages, just the way you can now do with user profile. Different groups have different needs: Music oriented group could add a Souncloud app Groups that have Twitter, could streamline their news this way saving time Groups that have websites, could streamline their RSS feeds straight to their Group page and so on... I believe this feature would benefit a lot of users as it would dramatically empower Jomsocial group functionality.. Thank you in advance.

JomSocial REALLY NEEDS to add categories to the photo section. You have categories in events and groups, but none in photos. Without photo categories, the collection is VERY disorganized within the community. I have requested this for well over 2 years now, and many other people are also looking for this. This is the #1 upgrade needed. WHEN WILL PHOTO CATEGORIES BE ADDED?

I have a request for JomSOCIAL. If you could add the feature to your photo gallery section to allow admins to PRE MAKE categories and subcategories which then would allow all users to upload their photos into this categories, then you would have the perfect photo gallery tool. The key problem with community photo sharing is that they get disorganized. With my idea, the community admin can preplan the community and help to pre organize the photo galley focused on the community. Then when users share photos they will select a category or a subcategory for their photos to go into. Now when a person views the photo gallery, they can then easily focus on a category and study photos of the one topic. This makes using the photo gallery better. I know, because I have been running a photo gallery sine 2003 and it now has 9,000 photos in it with 20,000 page views a month. See this http://ipphotos.com Look at this structure and see the categories. The look into one and see the sub categories. These were all set my admin, and users can only upload photos into these. THIS IS WHAT JOMSOCIAL NEEDS. I would like to get this idea built into a Joomla component and your photo tools inside of jomsocial are the best community photo tools so far. I have installed and tested all others, and non do what I have and none are great for communities. Please let me know if this is a project we can complete. Thank you
